Dec 20, 2012· We can get the tailstock perfetly true sidetoside, but the tailstock is basically sitting 4 thou too high (8 thou indicated as I spin around a centre installed in the tailstock) There is no height adjustment on the tailstock for height. It looks like the only way to fix this would be to shim the headstock or machine the tailstock.
